This picture of Miss Beth was taken September 1, 2020. Beth felt great that Tuesday morning. August was filled with non-epileptic seizures - some lasting 6-7 hours. A heart rate in the low 120’s became the norm and the eight implants in her mouth that were meant for teeth were causing a daily nightmare as they dug into her tongue during these extended tremor episodes. After a great deal of research, considering various medications and working with an awesome physician Beth began a new seizure medication and within 48 hours Miss Beth was seizure free. Beth’s life has been a journey filled with happiness, adventure, a family who adores her and awesome friends. However - she has served her Father best through the valleys. October 21, 2015 Beth would enter the hospital to face the battle of her life. With a recently diagnosed inoperable brain tumor she soon learned “if it could go wrong the devil made certain it did.” Eight months later Beth was discharged living a completely different life than when she went in. She was no longer walking, no longer breathing on her own, receiving nutrition through a G-tube and her worse nightmare, wearing diapers. Over the past five years Beth has managed life and her mission on earth nothing short of the warrior she was meant to be. The day after this picture was taken Beth began what was thought to be an impressive Urinary Track Infection (UTI). An antibiotic was quickly prescribed with the expectation of a quick recovery. After six days on the antibiotic two times daily it was clear we needed to take a second look. The next day a stronger antibiotic began which we would soon learn appeared to make little difference. Conversations were had and what would be another life changing moment, the subject of bladder cancer was realized. Saints Miss Beth needs a miracle and the good news is - we know The Miracle Maker.
“Join me in praying so that, when God answers, God will be glorified in answering many prayers." 2 Corinthians 1:11
