this family is amazing and completely embody the word KIND! They on a daily basis. They have fostered over 100 children and are advocates for children in foster care. They open their home so willingly even when they are exhausted. They currently have 9 children in their home with 4 being there own. They treat every child who comes through their home with love and respect. Children might only stay one night but this family leave’s a lasting impression. In their spare time they recruit local families to help solve this foster care crisis. See we live in Escambia County (FL) which has one of the worst foster child to foster parent ratios. We have too many children in the system and not enough resources. Without people like Jessie and Taran Howell children would constantly be sent to south Florida with little to no hope of reuniting with their families. This family not only have impacted my life but the lives of so many. They truly every single day.
