I am hosting a fundraiser for my sister, Crystal who was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia March 29th of this year. She had to spend a little over month in the hospital when she was first diagnosed due to the chemo treatments and medication. Crystal was able to go home for a few weeks before she needed a bone marrow transplant. To our surprise I was 100% match for my sister to be her donor. On June 11th I had the bone marrow harvest done then on June 12th Crystal received her new blood!!! She then spent several more weeks in the hospital receiving chemo and medication treatment to prevent her body from rejecting my cells. Crystal is home and recovering much better then anyone expected. I am hosting a fundraiser for Crystal and her husband Nathan to raise money for their medical bills. With her being home now the bills are pouring in. I am having an event at Eastern Lanes in Middletown at 3:00pm on October 6th. We will have raffles going on as well. We are asking for donations to help raise money with the raffles. Please help us in celebrating Crystal’s recovery and supporting her through donations.
