“My favorite thing about Christmas when I was young was the magical “Santa wrap wall” that blocked the entry into the living room where the tree and presents were. Because of this wall, there was so much more excitement in everything. Of course, the rule was that everyone had to be up and out of bed in order to burst through the paper to see what was on the other side. As a kid, we had 10 people that needed to be up, and the struggle was real getting the older ones out of bed! I remember begging my older sisters to not worry about their hair, or told them to wait to use the bathroom til after we burst through the paper. It was truly magical. I’ve carried the magic onto my kids. Being in our new house this year it proposed quite a challenge as we have a larger opening than ever before (9 feet wide to be exact). But I was determined to do it! And, well, we did it! 9 feet x 6 feet. Merry Christmas!”
