Description
Earlier this week I posted about Mila.
She’s 30 years old and is dying from cancer.

On her bucket list for was going to a Warriors game and hopefully meeting Steph Curry.

Well she can now cross that off her list.
Last night she got to go to the game AND she also got to meet Steph Curry.

Honestly I got choked up seeing these pictures.

I know that Steph Curry gets a million requests.
I’m so happy that he took the time to say hi to Mila.
I don’t think he has any idea how much it meant to her.

Here’s what her friend Jo Anne Quan wrote about last night:

Steph Curry came to Mila after shooting some baskets during the team warm up.
Mila was thanking him and smiling in awe.

Steph said that it was his pleasure to stop and meet with Mila and they hugged and took a picture together.

We also met Omri Casspi, Jordan Bell and Zaza Pachulia.
The whole experience was pretty surreal.

Mila had trouble sleeping for days from anticipation excitement.

Her first impression was that the players look A LOT bigger then on TV and the court looks a lot shorter.

Mila was most thankful for the Warriors staff for accommodating us at short notice, Lamont Gilbert with the Nicholas Colby Fund (plus Sheila Gilbert and Gina Baker) and her friends for being with her to share in the experience.

She plans to frame her signed jersey along with the ticket and picture of herself with Steph Curry.

To say that the community provided an unforgettable night beyond anything she could have imagined is an understatement.

—Jo Anne Quan

I would also like to thank Raymond Ridder.
He’s the PR guy for the Warriors.
I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate his support.
