This is my six year old niece, Kenzie. In August of this year, her mom, (my sister) was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma (breast cancer). My sister is in the middle of a 16 week chemotherapy course. Once that is completed, she will face three surgeries in the new year. Kenzie has been lucky enough to have some amazing people surrounding her and has had some "Christmas elves" dropping off occasional surprises for her and her sister Karras. I am so thankful those people exist in this world! As you can imagine, it has not been easy for my sister and her family. Even though you would never know it when you look at my sister. Her positive spirit and smiling face are absolutely contagious. And obviously my niece sees her Mother being happy and positive in the face of very hard times and really that's all you can ask for in life. I am so proud of my sister and so proud of my niece who is wise way beyond her years! I love you ladies so much! Take a few minutes and watch this video and share it if you would like to!
