Cody Wickline is a rising country singer from West Virginia. He appeared on Season 8 of The Voice. He turned all 4 judges chairs with his rendition of the George Jones classic "He Stopped Loving Her Today" and ended up on Team Blake. After Cody was eliminated during the Knockout Round, he returned to WV and has continued to perform for enthusiastic crowds. He released his debut album, "Son of a Working Man" in February 2016 and has opened up for such well known acts as Lynyrd Skynyrd, John Michael Montgomery and the Brothers Osborne. I think Cody is one of the most talented country singers around today. He has that old country sound. He has done a lot of covers, but this one of "Don't Close Your Eyes" is my favorite! And, in addition to being incredibly talented, Cody is also extremely humble and kind. He has performed countless benefits, from people with cancer to his local animal shelter. He has also visited a sick little girl who is a big fan of his at a children's hospital in Morgantown, WV because she was too ill to attend his show. Cody is the real deal and the whole package and deserves success more than anyone I can think of.
