Jessica, aged 4, has been battling stage four Neuroblastoma, an aggressive cancer of the nervous system, for a little over twelve months. On 5th October, during a routine clinic appointment it was discovered that this cancer is now showing further signs of progression.

The conversation with Jessica's oncologist has revealed that in his experience, with the progression he has seen, he believes that Jessica's expected life should now be measured in months rather than anything more.

As you may imagine our family has been rocked to the core by this latest revelation. We knew that this day could and most likely would come but we were certainly not expecting it to come so soon, especially not after her appearing to do so well after her last course of radiation treatment.

We are now preparing to try and give Jessica as much happiness and enjoyment is as possible in whatever time we have left with her. We hope and we believe that this happiness and enjoyment will provide Jessica with a welcome and needed distraction from the certain onset of symptoms related to this progression.

The monies raised will help to support, care for and provide enjoyment through days out, treats and possibly a few nights away. We want to create as many happy memories as is possible in the remaining time we have with Jessica.
