IT'S TIME TO EDUCATE THE WORLD THAT A RHINO's LIFE IS FAR MORE PRECIOUS THAN ITS HORN:
Rhinos continue getting poached on a daily basis in South Africa despite being under protection of so- called international ban on trade in rhino horn, a ban that doesn't allow trade in legally produced horn (where the rhino stays alive and a horn grows back), but which at the same time has miserably failed to stop the illegal trade and instead has created monopoly for illegal traders who poach and drive our rhinos to extinction. And while I am desperately sorry for the rhino, I no longer blame the poacher but those who support and fight to keep the monopoly for criminals in place. These people are the core of the problem; they help to push our rhinos to extinction!
Never should we look back and say- I should have helped the rhino when I had the chance.
