Today is World Down Syndrome Day.

My daughter, Mairi, was frustrated with students in her Grade 9 class who continually used the "R" word to tease each other.

So she made a short video, and after showing it to them said,

“When you use the R word, you not only hurt the young man in this video, you hurt me...because this is my big brother.”

Here’s to my son Matt rockin’ that 21st chromosome!!
