Help blind hero who lost eyesight in Iraq - He's never seen the faces of his 3 boys
Description
Help hero who was blinded in Iraq by passing this on to spread the word: http://tinyurl.com/oh2zay6

Imagine having three beautiful children and never seeing their faces. Imagine never being able to look into the eyes of your spouse. Maj. Scotty Smiley lost his sight while defending our country in Iraq. He has every right to live in anger, full of resentment, but instead he's choosing to live a life to inspire others.

While on a mission to locate a vehicle loaded down with explosives, Maj. Scotty Smiley found the vehicle, but the driver detonated the explosives, sending shrapnel everywhere, hitting Scotty in multiple parts of his body including. Scotty's optic nerve was damaged and he has never seen since that day.

He now has 3 beautiful young boys but has never seen their faces. Despite everything he's been through, he's written a book, learned how to skydive, surf, and climb mountains. He is a motivational speaker and is currently training for the Ironman in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in June.

His wife Tiffany is just as incredible. She has taken on the responsibilities of being the only seeing parent of three kids while working as an OBGYN nurse at Sacred Heart.

Their story is a story that will challenge you to do more and live your life to its full potential. Currently funds are being raised for a documentary to be produced about Scotty's life so the world can hear his story the way it deserves to be told. This documentary will help launch a foundation started by Maj. Scotty and his wife.

All funds have to be raised by May 6, 2015 at 5pm. If the goal of $50,000 is not reached, no money will be donated. Your help is needed and every dollar counts. Please consider supporting this cause.

There are incentives and rewards for individuals or companies who donate amounts over $50.

All the info on supporting this project can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/oh2zay6

If you can't give financially, please just pass this on so more people can hear about it.
