I have followed Zeus's remarkable journey and have visited St. Francis shelter from Washington state.(No, I didn't make the trip just to visit. My mother lives in Murphysboro and has adopted a dog from St. Francis) Zeus's story is amazing and the great people at St. Francis, and his mothers deserve recognition. Most people/shelters would have euthanized Zeus rather than give him a second change.
This story is a true inspiration. Not just the people involved but the dog has brought so much joy and happiness to so many people. He visits schools, church groups, state police headquarters, private offices, farmers markets, and private birthday parties. They do this for the love and joy he brings to people.
