Have had the honor of meeting this amazingly brave young lady and her family! What a privilege!
If you have not heard of this family, you are truly missing out on what love is all about. I began my journey with this young lady as a parent educator. I knew how strong of a connection this family had to their children. I continued on not only as their friend but as a new business owner. Let me explain, Sherline had a daycare business and was leaving it so she knew I was starting one, she gave me one of her families and I ended up with a great business. My son and Miss Margaret went to church together and we were formulate to have sat in front of this family Christmas Eve before her horrific accident. Ellen you would be a fool not to meet them. I cannot tell you the strength of this family. If you ever have wondered how a family survives and thrives after tragedy, this is one worth your 15 minutes of air time. I promise you this, they will forever change your life, and you will become like the rest of us here in Jefferson City, Missouri. You will become a supporter of this courageous young lady and her even more courageous family. Don't be a fool, it is only a few moments of YOUR time, how about it Ellen, say you'll give this young girl a few minutes.

If any one family deserves to be on the ELLEN show - it is this family! This little girl is so BRAVE - she is an inspiration to all of us. There is no way I could put a smile on my face if I were paralyzed from the neck down, but this little girl always has a smile. The whole family should be recognized, as everyone of their lives has changed since that car accident. They have more struggles than any family I know has ever endured, but they have that bond that always pulls them through somehow. I don't even really know this family, but have kept up with them since the day of the accident. They are in my prayers nightly, and my prayer is that little girl will walk again some day! Research and prayers (and maybe ELLEN) are their only hope.
