She barely survived her 26th birthday, went bald from malnutrition, yet still smiles. Gastroparesis (gp), is an 'invisible illness'. You cannot tell from looking at a person that they are sick, yet for some diagnosis of this illness has meant planning your own funeral. There is no natural progression for gp, some people live with it for years, trying to medicate the symptoms and some are not so lucky. Please help get Ellen to bring Raven Walton on her show. Raven teaches dance to children, competes in pageants and has gp. She is trying to get a chance to bring national attention to this horrible illness, and give all gp patients a voice!
