Our mission and purpose is to bring motivation, inspiration and hope to people of all ages young and old, near and far. We hope to bring awareness to the rest of the world that our culture and heritage is going strong.
Some of our current accomplishments such as Jacob Harris (15 yrs old) and Cieanna Harris (13 yrs old) who are our current two time back to back World Couple Jigging Champions. Jacob Harris is a four time World Men's Youth current Champion. Michael (17 yrs old) who is a seven time world Jigging Champion and Cieanna Harris who is a one time women's youth champion.
The name Ivan Flett originated with the sad passing of their Grand Father; Ivan Flett in 2012. When they lost their Grandpa they wanted to give up dancing because it was to hard at that time to continue on dancing without one of their biggest supporters, but with time they knew that had to carry on and be strong as it's not what Ivan would have wanted for them. It was with great sadness but an honour to rename themselves the Ivan Flett Memorial Dancers. Until this day each dance they do is in his honour.
