My name is Paige Kennedy and I am a senior at Villanova University. We have started the Diabetes Egg Crack Challenge in honor of a good friend, Will Hauver, who passed away at 22 years old due to complications from the flu and type 1 diabetes. We are posting this because we need ELLEN to help us promote this cause! Multiple college athletic teams and greek life, an NFL Wide Receiver, a Johns Hopkins physician, and a lacrosse team from Ireland have all joined in the fun. Villanova University's President Father Donohue, the Georgetown Women's Lacrosse team and Rollins College Chi Omega have nominated Ellen to participate in the challenge! It is much like the ALS Ice Bucket challenge, all you have to do is CRACK, DONATE, and NOMINATE! GET CRACKIN!

***I am a HUGE fan of Ellen, and so are Will's sister and mother, who attended the show a few years back. Every time someone asks, "if you were to meet someone dead or alive, who would it be?" I always choose ELLEN, without a doubt! Ellen is so caring, so inspirational, so charitable, and would have some GREAT Egg Crack puns to include with this challenge!! So please, we would LOVE your help to spread awareness for type 1 diabetes and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in Will's honor!!
