December 19th 2014 was the day I said yes to him!

He did so good! After five years of loving each other, Danny popped the question, and in the most unbelievable amazing way anyone could have thought up (with a twist of our italian heritage in there, bada bing bada BOOM!)

Originally, I had suspected that my cousin who was with me when it all happened, needed me to take her to a doctors appointment to get her heart checked because she passed out at work the day before. I had went to pick her up and she was getting all dolled up, which I found odd, but didn't think too much into it.

We were a little early and she did mention that she wanted to go to grab a bite to eat to calm her nerves. We walked into Rics bar and grill attached to the Sheraton four points and the Calgary Flames hockey team was playing.

I was a little side tracked because I was pretty worried about my cousin. When the breaking news came on the TV I was a little confused (I didn't know Calgary had a Mafia? Im italian, why wouldn't I know about something like that!!) As it panned the side of Danny's head I thought to myself "He kind of has side burns like my boyfriend!" But didn't clue in until I seen my fathers face.
