During a crisis .. we often see the best of humanity emerge.
This arrived in my mailbox today. A handwritten note to my 7th grader and a BEST BUY gift card from his bus driver, Mr. Del - saying he’s sorry he couldn’t say goodbye for the summer and that he misses each student who rides his daily route.
EVERY SINGLE KID GOT ONE!
(approx 50 kids).
This is the same bus driver, who last year gave all the students Amazon gift cards and cookies to see them off for the summer.
Thank you, Mr. Del for your kindness during a tough time for our kids. My son looks forward to riding your route again when school reopens ❤️
