'My special babies': Woman makes lunches for children in her neighborhood who knock on her door
A Missouri woman has been providing lunches to any neighborhood child who asks for the last five years.
Champale Anderson, who is also a mother to six children, told she has an open-door policy on school days.
Kids who are hungry know to knock on her door before or after school. She'll answer with a snack for breakfast or lunch.
"They get off the bus and they take off running," Anderson told. "Because they never know what I will have in the bag. I switch it up. Sometimes I give them special treats for my special babies."
She also has a GoFundMe page for anyone who's interested in helping her cause.
