“No Problem, in Fact I Will Even Hold Her So You Can Take Better Notes in Class.”
This is pretty cool.
A student came to class at Morehouse College with his young child.
He told the professor that he couldn’t find a babysitter and that no one else could watch her.
Professor Nathan Alexander said:
“No problem, in fact I will even hold her so you can take better notes in class.”
How great is that?
As one person in the class wrote:
“This professor (understands) that life happens and sometimes there are just no ways around it.”
Professor Alexander is why I have so much respect for teachers.
Now if we could just start paying them what they’re worth.
in fact i will even hold her so you can take better notes in class.”

When I had my orientation at the business college I was about to attend I had no babysitter either. I also had twin infants. The dean of the school told me to come anyways. I got there and he asked if my son could help orientate the class.... um... ok... he grabbed my son, took him to the front of the class and proceeded with orientation. This gave me a free hand to take notes with my daughter on my lap. Thank you professor. I know first hand what a sense of relief and appreciation that student felt. :)
