Description
"As my grandfathers funeral procession got onto highway 70 in St. Charles just before St. Louis heading to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery we passed in the far right lane and immediately noticed a man standing beside his truck - he saluted as the hurse drove by and then held his hand over his heart as he rest of the procession passed. I immediately started crying and later when our family all got together after the funeral we all mentioned how amazing the sight was and how it was a total tear jerker! We couldn’t believe someone would stand out in the 12 degree weather just feet from interstate traffic to honor an unknown fallen soldier, how precious was that sight. Thank you for showing such great honor - I found and got to personally thank this man! Bradley Faulkner is his name and he was available to come to my home. He is a super nice guy and he shared he is an Army vet. He served 9 years and did a tour in Iraq. My grandfather joined the Navy when he was 17 and celebrated his 18th birthday in boot camp. He passed away with 17 great grandchildren."
