Zimba is back home tonight.
Zimba is back home tonight.

I posted earlier today about how Zimba was found abandoned in Maryland.

He had a microchip and the Caroline County Humane Society was able to locat his owner, Ikea Mosley, in Wichita, Kansas.

But Wichita was 1,300 miles away and they had no way of returning him.

So a man named Zach Holt volunteered to drive Zimba.
And today they arrived.

Ikea was so excited to see Zimba again.
She is quoted as saying:

"I’m very truly blessed that Zach brought him back to me.
I’m a single mom, so I wasn’t able to get away from work to get to him.
If I could have, I would have drove all the way to get him."

Zach posted about his trip every day.
And thousands and thousand of people were following his adventure.

Zach says:
"It’s worth it.
It’s well worth it.
All the love and support we’ve gotten.
It’s more than worth it.
It’s very fulfilling."

Zach says he's going to head back home now.
But first he wanted to get something to eat and get some sleep.

The world could use more people like Zach.
