Student Accidentally Vows To Wear The Same Costume Every Day For Weeks
Description

Kelsey Hall discovered a hilarious Christmas tree costume and took a selfie to document just how ridiculous it was. That on its own wasn’t the mistake that shot her into internet stardom, however. What Hall did next would haunt her for weeks…and possibly even the rest of her life!

She posted the innocent selfie on Twitter…but her fatal error was posting it alongside a challenge:

1,000 retweets and I’ll wear this to all my classes for the rest of the semester,” she wrote.

And within hours, she regretted it. At over 40,000 retweets, Hall was made aware that even if you only have a few followers, the internet is a powerful tool that shouldn’t be taken lightly. While there were only weeks left of classes (and a week of that being for final exams) she wasn’t going to go back on her word. She bravely went to all of classes, walking around campus in her Christmas tree costume and posing for pictures with her new fans.On the second day, she regretted it as rain began pouring down, wetting the costume and making is super gross!

She posted this unfortunate selfie…and complete strangers wanted a P.O. box nearest her so that they could send her replacement costumes! They didn’t want a bit of poor weather to get in the way of her vow to keep up the Christmas spirit at school.

I didn’t think this would happen and that I’d have to wear it,” she said.

But wear it, she did. And in glorious fashion!
