Baby Presley couldn't wait to get home after evacuating from Hurricane Irma!
Description
"Baby Presley couldn't wait to get home after evacuating from Hurricane Irma!

Marcus, a Savannah, GA police officer, sent his family to shelter in North Carolina as he remained in Savannah to help the first responders during the storm.

Yesterday, as his wife Candice and children were headed back home, his wife stopped for gas off of I-95, where she quickly realized she was going into labor! Thankfully an officer with Hardeeville Police Department, who happened to be at the same gas station, quickly called EMS personnel and stayed with the family until they had arrived. Candice was brought to Coastal Carolina Hospital and minutes later welcomed their sweet baby girl, Presley Jade Simplis-Paige.

Marcus would like to thank his fellow first responders for helping his wife and their new baby girl and although they didn't make it back to Savannah in time, Candice said "I couldn't have asked for more, especially coming from a facility where I've never been and don't know anyone. They made me feel very, very comfortable and you just can't beat that."
