Wanted to take a minute and say what a privilege it was to meet one of Gods angels today. That's exactly what this man is after listening to his story. Mike Howard of Harlan, KY is a man great faith and great serviceman in his community. He has been a volunteer at Harlan Health and Rehab for nearly 38 yrs. Not only does he volunteer at the nursing home, hospital, and other community centers. But he is well known for his most important role. Santa Claus! That's right! Mike uses his time and resources to take toys (which ALL donated) to unprivileged kids in the area. He has his own workshop and elves. He doesn't do it all on his own. He has several sleds and elves helping him get all the toys to kids by Christmas.
Mike was diagnosed with cancer. He is feeling better everyday and is hoping to get back to what God has sent him to do.
We sometimes question is God real? Yes, I DO believe God is real! You may not see him in the flesh, but you can see it in hearts of people like Mike Howard. You can't help but tear up listening to Mike talk about his relationship with God.
