It's Still Cooking With That Sauce and Hot Rice.
My parents are currently in Japan (super jealous) and needed a recommendation for dinner. I told them to go check out chef Motokichi who makes "the most famous omurice in Japan". Omurice generally refers to "fried rice wrapped in egg" although this chef has made it insanely popular! His version is a semi-cooked scramble placed on top of an oval shaped fried rice. Once he cuts it open (drum roll) he tops it with a demi-glace. So sad I couldn't be there to try it but I still made them send me a video to share with all of you!
