Rhythm will be on the journey of his lifetime as we attempt to fight the mass that was discovered in his brain on Easter Sunday. He has been diagnosed with DIPG which is a non-curable, very aggressive, terminal tumor. We have been given 6-12 months for his survival term. But we are not giving up! Radiation has been known to prolong the process and even temporarily shrink the tumor to alleviate some symptoms. We are also trying to incorporate medical grade canabis oil, which has also shown great success in shrinking and delaying growth. We will keep everyone updated on his success and daily activities, because we plan on having fun the whole time! Rhythm is not in pain and explained that he is very happy and loves playroom here at the Kapiolani center. Keep him in your prayers! We are staying positive and giving him ALL OUR LOVE! WE LOVE YOU RHYTHM! We can do this! Who cares if this is "non-survivable" (there are current children still alive now after 3 years!) let's be the first and show them how it's done!
