Ellen you will so love Tina. She has a heart of gold and is truly an amazing woman who we all LOVE. I myself have two of the death row survivors from her. A one eyed shih Tzu(the love of my life-hehe), and a darling small poodle. She could really use some help in getting the word out and she could use some help. I help her with the birds she rescues and last year was a really tough one with the drought. You never know what you will see when you visit her place-a 200 lb. tortoise, various pigeons and doves that love her and come back daily to eat and say hi. etc...pigs, opossums, like she says, "I will do my best to save anything with a heartbeat, everything deserves a chance". She is truly a healing soul. Sharon Ferry aka Pinky Middaugh

Romeo was 10 minutes away from euthanization when Tina came in and rescued him. Diagnosed with wrobblers syndrome and unable to walk, Tina raised 8,000+ dollars for surgery for Romeo. After a successful procedure, Romeo needs extensive rehab to walk again. At 275$/day Romeo needs our help! Please go to joshandhiscritters.org or find them on Facebook. Give a dollar. Anything. Everyday of rehab brings Romeo one step closer to being able to walk. He is a death row survivor, let's help take this second chance and live life!
Hi Ellen! Please have Tina Lythgoe on your show and JOSH!!! It'll be bigger than the apparently kid (who is from my neck of the woods) I'm from WilkesBarre Pa area! Tina has the ABSOLUTE BIGGEST HEART anyone will ever see! Join Josh and his critters and see the amazing work this Angel has done! Help her to help the forgotten and disregarded!!! This sweet woman is beautiful inside and out!
Hi Ellen! I know that you help people / organizations in need. Romeo has captured the hearts of many and we are all praying for his recovery.
I have been following Tina Marie Lythgoe ..on Facebook ;-)... now for a couple of years. She is truly passionate about what she does to help save those "critters" that have been abandoned; or that just need someone to care for/about them.
As a matter of fact, I was so impressed by her compassion, that while my husband and I were in Los Angeles on vacation we made it a point to go and meet her (we live in Connecticut).
Yes, her cause(s) and Romeo's are ones that we have contributed to. It isn't much, as we have our own critters and other animal rescue organizations that we donate to, but we do the best that we can.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could see your way clear to helping Tina Marie Lythgoe get the help that Romeo needs. Thank you!

Hi Ellen! I'm thrilled that you have information about Tina on your EN website! I have been praying that you would discover her and give her attention! She and her guy Lenny are such stand up people who only want to help animals and people live with decency and security. I live all the way on the other side of the country but have been following Tina since she rescued little Josh. Thank you again for shining some light on Tina and the wonderful work she does! She lives by your words "be kind to one another"...xo
I'm proud to call Tina, Lenny, her main squeeze, Josh and all their critters my friends. She is the animals best friend. I met Tina through a Leave No Paws Behind rescue named Tiffy. Tina was a short term foster while they looked for a long term foster. The dog was a Tibetan terrier. When I met Tina, she asked me to promise I would keep Tiffy for the rest of her life. I made that promise and kept Tiffy until she crossed the Rainbow bridge a year and a half later. Tiffy was the sweetest girl ever. Getting Tiffy and becoming Tina's friend are two of the blessings I've gotten since becoming a foster. There is no one who loves and cares for all animals like Tina. She's an amazing woman. Right now she is doing everything she can to rehabilitate Romeo, a Doberman rescued from death row. If you can help Tina, go to Josh and his critters or Tina's facebook page. She reads every posting and you'll love her.
Tina Lythgoe of Josh and his Critters has a heart of gold!! She is basically a one woman rescue who will do anything to save a critter...large or small, a household pet or wild animal she will help save them. I don't know when the women sleeps because she does all of this on top of a full time+ job. Her latest rescue Romeo was on the brink of being euthanized, the shelter actually called her and begged her to help him. She barely got there in time to save him, but save him she did. His face, those eyes told the story, he needed help, a chance and that what Tina gave him, a chance. She has done everything but stand on her head (and she'd do that to if she knew it would work!) to get Romeo the help he needed in order to get him to walk again. Our village is smaller then most rescues and we need help to ensure Romeo has a chance!
Tina is a Saint! Please help her in any way possible please. As for my man little Joshy . .well isn't he the cutest we man you ever did see!!!! Please invest in Tina your time or money will be well spent healing poor helpless critters in need. The world would be a better place if there were more Tina's and Ellen's in this world x
