July 28th 2008 I gave birth to the most beautiful baby boy I ever laid eyes, he was a healthy little boy, or so we thought we didnt know there was something that we would be finding out about jovan that was extremly heart breaking and fatal...

Jovan was a normal little boy growing up the only thing he had problems with was his speech he wasnt able to say words but he sure was able to holler and point to make sure you knew what he wanted thats how he communicated but other then that he reached all his milestones on time..

Jan. 6, 2012 ... He had his first seizure, he continued to have seizures while we continued to figure out why, by June he started loosing his balance and falling, by december he could no longer walk although he was still able to sit up on his own and crawl around but even then he would fall over alot...

Jan. 2,2013 .... Jovan was diagnosed with a very rare disease ... called (Batten Disease) this disease takes all abilities from the child, leaves them blind, bedridden and completely dependant for care, Jovan has to be fed thru a tube, he is no longer able to sit up on his own or even hold his head up and he is now completely blind..

Although this tragedy is unfolding in my families life... and we are faced with knowing he will pass on anytime before his teen years, We will continue to make sure Jovan lives a GREAT life and experiences everything he possibly can, We love him more than words could describe...
I also want to share his story with all of you because this *Angel* God has sent us is going to teach us all something about Life, Love and family... he is going to show us how Family, friends and complete strangers come together and make a difference in peoples lives.. Thank you for letting us Love, Laugh, Cry, and Grieve OUTLOUD.... We LOVE you All ♥
