This is great, but too bad you noticed this a year late, and not last summer when we try to approach you to bring more attention to this story, but still good you notice and bring more awareness about this condition and this kid Seth story. XOXOX
You are my Hero Seth...I am so glad your Mom writes and keeps us all up to date on how you are doing :)
Everytime I wear my Yellow Sweater I think of You, so you made a big impact on me with your Favorite Color :D
I hope you don't have as much snow over there as we have over here in Canada brrrrrr.
Have a Wonderful Day Seth, to you and your family.
From my boys Philip, Ben and I (Kathy)

It would be great if you highlight this as it affects so many kids worldwide. There is not enough awareness about S.C.I.D. between the public and also the medical professionals. A simple blood test at birth could save so many babies lives. The blood test is not thought to be cost effective, at least that is the case in Ireland. I know the test is being brought in in some states in U.S.A. The symptoms are not immediate red flags for doctors and some babies become too sick before it is detected to do anything about it. For those lucky enough to be caught early they can be cured and live normal healthy lives. I support the Bubble Foundation in the U.K. as it pays for research, accommodation for babies and their families in their time of need. They also pay for much needed medical equipment, toys and educational needs of the children who pass through the Bone Marrow Unit in Newcastle. Here, they deal with children from around Europe.
