Ellen, if you have not been introduced to Duchenne, please meet this family.  They are typical of the members of this community, all amazing, full of hope, and ready to do anything for their special boys!

Anthony and his family (especially his Mom, Jill) are THE most courageous, loving, thoughtful, giving and strong family we have ever known.  It is a privilege to have been a part of their lives and see their inspirational journey firsthand.  Watch this story when you have a moment and be inspired by their love, strength and fortitude!

As a mom of a 25yo w/DMD who's always wanted to see the Grand Canyon, this was amazing to watch. What a wonderful mom, & everyone who helped Anthony!

Jill, Anthony and family are Amazing! Jill never says no to dreams and will conquer them all! She is an inspiration to all who know her. This journey touched so many lives.  Ellen you should let it touch more.  We know you know Duchenne, through Darius (Darius Goes West) and his amazing troop of guys.  You should now know Duchenne through Jill and Anthony.  Simply inspirational in all aspects of their lives!

Brave, courageous, resilient, and willing to go to any length to overcome, combat, and outmaneuver the very nature of this debilitating disease....that's the Castles. I'm so blessed to be a part of their lives, and consider AC ( Anthony Castle ) to be a leader & light-bearer that redefines the word...IMPOSSIBLE.

Anthony's mom, Jill, has been fighting so hard for Anthony since the day he was born.  I know because we've been friends since before he was born.  In fact, the baby shower, when she was pregnant with Anthony was at my house! Ellen, please help Jill and all the other families in their fight against Duchenne!

This is such a great story. Sadly I lost my son to Duchenne at only 14 but I made sure he lived life to the fullest as possible . There is no cure. Thank you for sharing this with us.
