Trimming horn procedure is a bold step in safeguarding rhinos from poaching. Such steps has been successfully done by national parks and private rhino owners in South Africa, a home to 75% of the rhino's world population.
Next step is to legalize the trade in horn, a renewable product, to help create harmony between African people and their natural heritage.
As a result rhinos would stay alive and will help save Africa from poverty.
