This little guy right here is my son, Sylas Wright. I gave birth to him on Friday August 7th at 6:19 a.m. He was 4lbs & 15oz, 16.5 in. long. My little man has had it rough since a couple hours old! We found out that he has an Imperforate Anus, therefore he had to have a colostomy surgery and now goes potty in a colostomy bag. So, within a couple months he would have to go through another serious surgery to fix his anus properly. When we thought that was all we had to worry about, we got the news that he has a tethered spinal cord as well. This will have to be fixed with a major spinal surgery within a couple of months. We don't know yet which surgery will have to come first. We also received news he has physical problems with his hands and feet. My son is a true fighter. He has been in the NICU ever since he was born and still are waiting to be able to bring him home, where he belongs. What we are looking to do is spread his story and if anyone has any advice, experience, donations, or even a prayer.. It would be most appreciated. We are trying our best as young, first time parents to give Sy the best chances in having a normal life as possible, and it gets hard. So please if you could at least spend a moment of your time and read his story and spread the word it would mean the world to us and our son! God bless you all! ❤️
