My name is Sahro and I am multicultural Somali-Kenyan. My parents lived in Somalia before the war broke down. They flee from Somali to dadaab refugee camps. I was born in the camps, and life got even tougher and we resettled in the U.S.A. I am now a self-made fashion designer. I am in college studying fashion to enhance my fashion skills. I came across your facebook, and I felt in love with your mission. I believe in making a path for Muslimahs and inspiring our generation and the next to spark creativity while maintaining our faith. I have been working on a campaign call “#NicetoMeetYou” to send positive message that all genders, colors, shapes, and sizes are beautiful.
