My name is Trevor Scheerer, In March 2012, I was diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma stage 4 cancer, my type of cancer is very rare. I had to undergo 54 weeks of treatment, 28 days of radiation and surgery to remove right calf tumor. In April 2013 Trevor did finish his 54 week protocol but evidence of disease was still active. We were then able to have surgery and was accepted into a study where they test his tumor and figure out what chemo would be best. Surgery was done at the end of July and Trevor was on three targeted chemo's until July 2014, Trevor has been N.E.D since July 2013.
December 5th, 2014 Trevor relapsed, a lymph node in his pelvis has traveled up his lymphatic system to the abdomen and up, we are currently looking for a treatment or protocol plan.
