He's 1 in 1.1 million kind of Superhero
On 3/6/2014 my son Kamari was diagnosed with a Malignant Extrarenal Rhabdoid Tumor. A cancer so rare there are only about 20 kids in the US diagnosed with this malignancy per year. It is one of the most lethal malignancys within childhood cancer. Kamari went through 31 weeks of aggressive chemotherapy he received 6 different chemotherapy drugs all drugs he received were intended for adults. He has 25 days of radiation, had 2 major surgeries, 25+ blood and platelet transfusions, too many MRI's, CT scans, xrays, and ultrasounds to count. Right now Kamari is beating the odds and is CANCER FREE! He currently suffers from a few late effects from chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery to his spine and chest wall. But he always has this beautiful, amazing smile on his face. Kamari is definitely my hero! Kamari's fight to kick cancers butt has been documented on his Facebook page www.facebook.com/Kamaris.Fight
