The Battle against Leukemia
The Battle of Emilia Penelope Carransa Negrete against Leukemia.
Send Prayers

On July 10th our angel Emilia Penelope Carransa Negrete was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at 8 months old. The cancer took her from the energetic, adventurous little girl to an exhausted rag doll state in just a week. In a manner of days we had gone from packing the house up and selling our car preparing for my husband’s upcoming deployment to our daughter beginning a rigorous regiment of chemotherapy. ALL is a rare children's blood cancer that affects her white blood cells causing them mutate and to produce at an alarming rate which carries a variety of side effects and end results that conclude with death. Emilia has continued her chemotherapy now on Round 6 and has been responding extremely positively to treatments. It's hard as parents to have a sick child and even harder to know that there is so little we as her parents can do in this trail in her life. It’s nerve-wrecking to watch our little one have display levels of strength that no child should have to at this age, and with the constant dread and fear hovering on our minds of the unknowing.
We kindly as a family continues to ask for support in any form as we move forwarding and no words can express our gratitude for thoughts and prayers for our daughter.

Hey, so this is Emi's mom :)
Thank you for featuring our baby girl... Not quite sure how her story / journey ended up here, but thank you. :)
We have been trully blessed with an amazing group who show nothing but continued support. We trully appreciate it. :D
