Help Amy
Description
Sweet, beautiful Amy, a mother of 2 (14 months and 4 years old) lost her legs and is now have ng to under go the amputation of all her ten finger due to septic shock her body went through from a kidney stone. She has never lost her faith, her good spirit or her beautiful smile through this entire process. Her life was turned upside down in a matter of 30 days. I know she and her family could use your generosity. She is such an inspiration to many around her. I don't know her personally but we come from the same town and I have followed her story from the beginning. I'm hoping you can help her out so she can afford prosthetic limbs so can be the mother she so wants to be. If more people could hear her story they wouldn't hesitate to donate to her fund. I already have, I hope you will to. Please keep Amy Martinez and her family in your prayers. Love you Ellen, your mover and shaker. Make this happen for her.

Amy is one of my daughters BFFs.  Amy is just as beautiful inside as she is on the outside.  She is a wonderful mother and wife.  Even though her life "will never be the same" she stays positive, kind and grateful to be alive.  Her body might be a little different, but her heart and soul are the same.  She's not the kind to ask for help, so her friends are doing it for her. Blessings

From Amy's Journal on Facebook
Well, its official... after recent visits to my doctors the long waiting period is over. This Wednesday, May 6th, 2015 I will be admitted for orthopedic surgery. My right hand (the worse of the two) will be amputated about an inch or two behind the wrist and my hand completely gone. The surgery on my left hand hasn't been scheduled as of yet. God willing, there is still more to save on the left hand. By the way... I am right-handed. Although this has been extremely tough on my family and I, I can feel Gods peace cover me and knowing once again the decision has finally been made: I am going to be a quadruple amputee...

Please pray for mine and my family's physical/mental health as we brave this new storm, and ask that His ultimate will be done for our lives.

Love Amy, Ryan, Liam and Harper Martinez
