Awareness is key! Please share, be an advocate, and never give up the fight. Kristen's story is one of many that are on the rise. Breast cancer has been thought to be one of the most "treatable" cancers. The problem is that only works if you detect it. Health insurance is a racket. So many requirements and criteria that need to be met in order to have access to something as simple as a mammogram. Health Insurance companies don't want to pay. They would rather send the bill to the Life Insurance companies.
Joseph, I'm sorry you and the girls have had to go through this. But thank you for being a voice and such a big advocate for women. I wish you peace. You are a great dad and your girls are the picture of strength. ❤️

Thank you Jennifer Gibson. I am not stopping at just the age. I am going to ensure that BRCA I & II are protected and the ones no body remembers The ADOPTED women. They will know until it's too late.. We have to push forward until we are in Washington. I can't believe she is gone either. She was the healthiest one of the bunch and yet she is the 1st to go. She will never be forgotten if I have anything to do with it.
As a young adult with cancer, I have met many other young adult women who also have cancer. Breast cancer in younger women is becoming more and more prevalent. We have to do something. Young women are dying from this and they are way too young to be having such advanced stage cancer.
Because insurance companies are not required to cover mammograms (like they cover PAP smears and birth control), many companies require women to pay for them out of pocket.
Thank you for this petition. I have signed & shared!
